I miss blogging, you guys :c I'm popping in right now because I'm actually pretty much caught up on schoolwork for the week. Only two discussion questions to complete before Sunday at 7! Woo! I'm never caught up like this, I'm usually scrambling to finish everything on the last day. Lots of fun stuff coming up, though, my side of the family is throwing Jade his late birthday party on Sunday and then this coming week it looks like I'm getting my hair fixed by the wonderous Chivahn and maybe getting a new tattoo! WOOOO TAX RETURN TIME! ANYHOW. Let's toss out some links, shall we?

Photodump - Jade's first birthday, snowed in!

So, in the last week our son turned 1 and then we got totally snowed in. Soooo frustrating when I've got ebay stuff to ship and I'm going totally stir-crazy! GAH! I even had to reschedule Jade's one year checkup to next week, hopefully the weather clears up! ANYHOW. Pictures!

Terry's mom brought balloons. HOLY HELL I have NEVER seen him filled with so much glee!

I love Terry's face in this. Such an awesome moment.

Snowmaggeddon 2012, indeed! Terry and Jade on the sidewalk, random dudes are walking in the road for whatever reason.

We needed groceries horribly, luckily we live right next door to a Safeway! A bundled-up Jade safeguarding the garlic :D

Snow is fun and all, but I'm really looking forward to this whole thing heading out! My side of the family wasn't able to make it to Jade's party due to everyone being sick/snowed in, but we were hoping to have another party this weekend. That doesn't look like it's gonna happen :c I've been religiously checking the weather, though, and it looks like the temp is gonna start rising over the next few days, then we're getting rain next week! So it's looking like next week will be better. Fingers crossed!

Snooooww!

Awww. Taking a quick break from school to share this. It FINALLY started to snow today. Jade seemed to like it a great deal :3 Good thing I don't have to go anywhere, my tires are effed!

OMG SHOES.

I've been meaning to share my collection for quite some time, but never felt like hauling all my shoes out of their boxes and bags. I was in a funk over the state of our bedroom and wanted to rearrange some things, so  Jade and I ventured out today and got a super awesome (and CHEAP!) expandable shoe rack from Walmart and took a quick snapshot :D I CAN'T RESIST. I still have so many more pairs at my mom's house for some reason, but here's the bulk of 'em!

The only thing that sucks is that high wedges don't sit on it so well :/ Small price to pay! But one day I'll get all of  my shoes in one place and share (and take better photos, ha)!

Happy New Year!!! Got a lot going on these coming weeks, I have a badass commission for another Seattle salon's website that I'll be working on, school starts back up on Monday (AND I'm taking on extra tutoring this quarter as well!), PLUS Jade's first birthday is coming up on the 17th, so I'm hoping I'll be able to keep up with all that AND the blog, as I've grown quite fond of it this past month :D For now, here's what I was ogling this last week!

Not only does she have the gorgeous vibrato-laden voice of an angel, she is whip-smart, completely gorgeous, grounded, grateful for every fan she has, and socially conscious (she's also a badass yoga instructor!). I. Love. Her. Every time I meet her, she is sososo wonderful.
